Puchi News: February 2021

February, the shortest month of the year, is quite uneventful when compared to January. BUT we’re here to bring you some gyaru news so hopefully Puchi News: February 2021 has something of interest to you!!

πŸ¦‹ Peanut Magazine

A new gal magazine is on the rise, and we’re excited to see what kind of content they will bring us! Peanut is a super cute name for the mag and we wish our new friends good luck!!

πŸ¦‹ egg Men's Auditions

Original egg used to have a decent amount of gyaru-o amongst their models, but Reiwa egg is still working on building up their roster of mens models... thus they are holding auditions!

Looking at other ads they have done previously it seems like they mostly want new models that could participate in their reality show "Eguha"(eggHouse) where the models get to know each other and possibly form new relationships.

πŸ¦‹ Ayaka's Brief Reign as Kyabajyou

Ayaka became a kyabajyou for such a short time one can only think it was some sort of a publicity stunt or she just realised quickly enough that old men aren’t worth her time…

Either way, she apologized on Instagram stories to her fans where she explained that due to a different job she had to quit, but hopes to find a different way to meet her fans.

πŸ¦‹ nut's Kiss

Who here has been keeping up with nuts Kiss? We haven’t been keeping up to be brutally honest, but seeing Yushi, a rather popular host, appearing on the show with Ayaka was rather interesting so we thought it’d be a great addition to Puchi News!

πŸ¦‹ eggFES 2021

After being cancelled lat year due to COVID egg is taking another go at holding this graduation event for their models.

Pito and Ayaka have already been with nuts for a year so them graduating egg is no news, but Ryohei will be graduating as well so this will be a special event for them.

πŸ¦‹ Kyabajyo Ichijyo Hibiki Releases a Book

Super popular and successful Kyabajyo, Hibiki, just released her own book where she writes about how she could do this job and always stay positive as well as teaches her readers how to do what she does.

You can buy the book off Amazon here.

πŸ¦‹ 6th egg Model Contest Winner Announced

Japanese gyaru magazines tend to have often young models on their roster, so after adding a 14 year old gal last year, it comes to no surprise that their newcomer is 16 years old.

After holding their 6th model competition the gal Eripi won the Grand Prize and joined the rest of the egg models. She had been making appearances as an egg girl before joining them, so maybe it was not much of a surprise seeing her win! She’s super cute and we’re looking forward to seeing more from her!

πŸ¦‹ The Heisei Gyaru Comeback We've Been Waiting For!

Last month Tsu-chan teased us a bit with her old gal look when she did a make-over on a popular YouTuber, but now she took it a step further and gave us an amazing look very much remnant of her old gal days.

This might only happen once in a blue moon, but we’re always happy to see our Queen go back to her roots! This opportunity came thanks to the fact that Satou Noa wrote a Style book named “Sugar Sick“.

πŸ¦‹ Pito Launches ALENCY Swimwear Brand

Having allegedly been in the works for three years, nuts model Pito, releases her swimwear brand ALENCY. The concept is to create beautiful swimwear inspired by foreign companies, but made to fit better for Japanese body types.

πŸ¦‹ Maya's New Brand, GEMas02

Continuing on with the fad; Maaya has also released her won clothing brand… I think everyone and their moms must be releasing brands right about now, or so it feels like!

Despite having wanted to release back in November of last year, due to her own feelings of wanting it to be perfect she wasn’t able to release until now.

The name of the brand is GEMas02; “GEM” as in a stone, “as” is the French word for ace, but can also mean leading person and “02” stands for her birthday as it is in February as well in her fathers name the number 2 is in it so she has always wanted to have the number 2 in her brands name.

Aaaannd that concludes Puchi News of February 2021! We hope you enjoyed and had a great February yourself!
